When I was an apprentice decorator in 1974 we had to paint the interior of the Railway Inn and all the seats were painted garish colours (Orange with purple panels and lime green beading, outlandish even for the 70’s. Can someone confirm this was the Railway or am I getting it mixed up with another pub in the village? Thanks
