This photograph, which was obviously used to produce the drawing was recently ‘found’ at the Leics County Council Collections Resources Centre in Barrow.

  1. Hi I am interested in the history or Mountsorrel and was wondering if anyone had the information of where the entrances of the three caves leading to the castle which is now the Morial statue I think it was called castle hill and the castle was called Bailey castle
